"TEKUTEKU" Waterside Walk for Foreigners
Let's go for a walk and learn about the history of Koto City!
There are many rivers in Koto City. On this outing, we will walk along the Onagigawa River, and learn about the history of Koto City. The Onagigawa River was an important river for transporting salt during the Edo period.
As well as the Jizo, a guardian deity of children, and a shrine from the Edo Period, we will see the Arakawa Lock-Gate that keeps the current water level of Koto City at safe levels.
The Onagigawa River Guides will speak Japanese, and English interpreters will accompany them on the walk. We will also utilize audio guides with earphones.
・Highlights : Nakagawa-Funabansho Museum(tour), the Arakawa Lock-Gate, Shioname-jizo, Ojima-Inari Shrine, and so on.
・Date and time：Saturday, November 25th, 2017, 1:30 pm.～3:00 pm.
・Meeting point：Nakagawa-Funabansho Museum Entrance
・Finish point：Ojima Station
・Fee：700 yen (this includes the Museum fee and Insurance fee.)
・Participant age limit: 16 years old and above
・Capacity：In order of receipt of application 15 people
